Norma Jean Cook

Norma Jean Cook, 80, of Chester, VA passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. Born in Hopewell, VA she was the daughter of the late James and Arlene Lantz Hedgepeth. Mrs. Cook retired from Allied Signal after 26 years of service and was a member of Life Church in Colonial Heights. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband of 60 years, Aubrey Perry Cook; one daughter, Rhonda Ivey and husband, Robert; a son, Timothy Allen Cook and fiancée, Theresa Vaughn; three grandchildren, Adam Jones and wife, Rachel, Zachary Jones and Rachel Wiler and husband, Chad; three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Allison and Isabell; one sister, JoAnne Bell of TN; and several nieces and nephews. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
