Nora Lee Childress Narron

Nora Lee Childress Narron, 82, of Hopewell, VA, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Born in Lynchburg, VA on May 31, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and "Ruby" Childress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mount Vernon Narron, Jr.; and four sisters, Irene, Belle, Ann, and Jane; grandchild, Sunny Conner; step son, Sterling Narron; and step granddaughter, Brittany Oakley.

Nora is survived by three sons, Keith Samples (Janice) of North Carolina, Sidney Dosier (Pam) of Kentucky, and Doug Dosier (Beverly) of South Carolina; and step son, Dewain Narron (Michelle) of Claremont.

As a grandmother, Nora leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Known as "Lee", she leaves behind a brother in law, Sonny Evans, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Nora loved playing the piano and singing in the choir at Charity Baptist Church in Prince George. She leaves behind her loving church family and best friends.

A service celebrating her life will be held at a later date to allow family from out of state to travel.
