Nancy White Aden, 93, of Petersburg, widow of Allan Sharp Aden, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011. She was a native of Pulaski, Virginia and daughter of the late William F. and Bessie Gibson White. She was a graduate of Madison College, Class of 1938. She was a member of St. Markâ??s United Methodist Church for 52 years, former President of the Petersburg Garden Club and a long time member of the Country Club of Petersburg. Nancy loved life, friends and family. She was an avid golfer and bridge player, and was always the life of the party. She adored and followed her Virginia Tech Hokies. She is survived by her three children, William Allan Aden and wife, Nancy, Jack Sharp Aden and wife, Nancy, and Laurie Aden Fahl and husband, Doug; five grandsons, William Branner Aden, Christopher Allan Aden, Jeffry Sharp Aden, Allan Scott Aden, and Allan Webster Sullivan; one granddaughter, Sara Aden Hawk; two step grandchildren, Todd Stewart McClelland and Brett Erick McClelland and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Markâ??s United Methodist Church in Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday September 27, 2011 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will be at 11:00 am Friday, September 30, 2011 in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski, Virginia. The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Dunlop House and two special caregivers Barbara Ridley and Edith Gregory.
