Myrtle Baldwin Carelock

Myrtle Baldwin Carelock, a lifetime Hopewell resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. She had recently resided in Southern Pines, NC. Mrs. Carelock was preceded in death by her husband, James Aubrey Carelock; her parents, Clifford Earl and Mamie Markham Baldwin; and her brothers, David E. Baldwin and William V. Baldwin. She is survived by her sole remaining sibling, Virginia Baldwin Newton of Richmond; her son, James A. Carelock Jr. and wife, Heather of Fredericksburg; and her daughter, Lynne Carelock Muir and husband, Frank of Pinehurst, NC; grandchildren, Melissa Muir, Fielding Muir, Jay Carelock, and Jeanne Carelock; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
