Myrtle Atwood

Myrtle Wicks Atwood, age 83, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008. She was born in Petersburg, VA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Moody Wicks. Mrs. Atwood was a loving, caring, and devoted mother and grandmother who spent most of her life taking care of her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Stacey A. Jones and husband Sonny of Disputanta; sons, John Atwood and wife Adela of Rocky Mount, NC, and Mark Atwood of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Matthew, Peyton, and Abby Jones, Rachael McGee, John, Tara, Rachael, Bobby, Ashley, and Mary Catherine Atwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the J. T.
