Monica Marie Heretick

Monica “Mousey” Marie Heretick 50, of Chester passed away on Saturday January 25, 2014. Mousey was employed with Honeywell for 15 years. She followed and supported her daughter in softball and was at every game cheering her on. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, spending time with her family and friends especially her granddaughter, and was the life of the party. Mousey had a special relationship with her mother who was her best friend. Mousey was a caring and loving sister, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her husband, Dan Heretick; daughters, Sarah Heretick, Ashley Heretick, Stacy McIntyre; granddaughter, Ta’Jah Marks; mother, Inge Norton and her husband, Gene; father, Dale Marks and his wife, Marian; brother, Freddy Marks and his wife, Cathy; sisters, Sonnia Murr and her husband, Buddy, Lisa Tillman and her husband, John; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday January 29, 2014 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday January 30, 2014 at the Crosslight Assembly of God 27 Seyler Drive, Petersburg, VA 23805. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
