Mitchell Anderson

Mitchell "Mitch" Anderson, 75, of Chesterfield, VA, was carried home in the arms of Jesus on December 25, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Winifred Louise Bullard and Lawrence Anderson; grandparents, Minnie Kirtner Steele and Cyril Steele; aunts, Georgia McManaway and Billie Blankenship; and uncles, Eugene, Arvil, and Vance Steele.

Mitch was successful at everything he put his mind to. He had a talent for restoring and repurposing things that most people would call junk. He enjoyed playing darts, golfing, bowling, and fishing. Mitch loved watching Western films and was an avid Civil War buff. He was a man who never asked for anything and enjoyed a quiet lifestyle.

Mitch is survived by his brother, Teddy Anderson (Linda), of Marysville, WV; sister, Linda Shortt (Ronald), of Petersburg, VA; niece, Patricia Engle, of Petersburg, WV; and nephew, Teddy Anderson Jr., of Knob Noster, MO.

The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. All services will be private.
