Michael Wilson

Michael Wayne Wilson, 51, of Chesterfield County, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, John R. Wilson.

Michael was a security guard for the U.S. Army military installation at Ft. Gregg-Adams. In his spare time, he enjoyed saltwater fishing, hunting, being at the beach and on any type of fresh body of water, searching for shells, and driving his truck. He was a very loving husband, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Dené Susan Wilson; mother, Lou Wilson; son, Mikey Wilson; brother, Robby Wilson (Lori); sisters, Tina Raycroft (Brad) and Suzanne Avery (Jamie); nieces, Bailey Wilson and Lani Avery; nephews, Landon Avery and Cody Wilson; special aunt, Shelby King (Bobby); and many cousins and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Petersburg Chapel.
