Matilda Rusnak Seal Jennings

Matilda Rusnak Seal Jennings, 81, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012. She was retired from the Prince George County School System after working in food service; Mrs. Jennings was also an honorary Prince George Band Member. She was a member of the Prince George Women’s Club. Mrs. Jennings was a longtime member of Newville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed helping and caring for other people and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Jennings is preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie L. Seal Sr.; her second husband, Edgar Jennings; son, Leslie L. Seal Jr.; her parents, Alfred A. and Ruth Harrison Rusnak; and brother, Alfred Rusnak Jr. She is survived by her sons, Randy Seal and his wife, Jennifer, and Dwayne Seal and his wife, Susan; grandsons, Cory, Daniel, and Nathan; sisters, Barbara Holland and her husband, Clarence, and Judy Caul; daughter-in-law, Debbie Seal; nieces, Lisa Taylor, Tina Houghtelin, and Patricia Dishman; nephews, David Gormley Jr. and Andrew Rusnak; and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Newville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pat Elder officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
