Mary Marks

Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Marks, 60, formerly of Aberdeen Farm in Prince George and most recently residing in Hopewell, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Beth was the daughter of the late Wingate Harrison and Anne Lane Marks. She is survived by her sister, Carol Marks Bowman (Christopher Stevenson) of Prince George. Also surviving Beth were her much loved canine companions, Roxie and Ruffin; and her cat, Tom, all rescue animals. A funeral service will be held at Merchants Hope Episcopal Church on Saturday, September 10, at 2:00p.m, with the Reverend Dr. Charles N. Moore, Jr. officiating. Interment of the ashes will follow in the Marksâ?? family plot, at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. There will be no formal visitation but visits with Carol and Chris at Aberdeen, 15301 James River Drive, at any time are welcome. A reception is planned for friends and family at Aberdeen, following the Merchants Hope service.
