Mary Rebecca Lewis

Mary Rebecca Lewis, 73, of DeWitt, Virginia, passed away on December 16, 2025. She was born on September 6, 1952.

Mary was a devoted mother, sister, and partner whose life centered around the people she loved most. She is survived by her three children, Beverly Edwards (Shawn Edwards), Micheal Daniels (Emily Daniels), and James Robinson; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored; her five loving sisters, Joan Edwards, Pamela Salmon, Rhonda Pirkey, Sandra Smith, and Lori Green; her brother, Wayne Edwards; and her beloved fiancé, Paul Hoylman, who brought her great joy and companionship.

Mary found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved the ocean, the lake, and most of all spending time with Paul, whom she cherished deeply. Her warmth, loyalty, and love for her family will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Sr. and Beatrice Louise; her sister, Kitty Ellis; and her brother, Charlie Edwards.

Mary will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her family and loved ones.

The family is being served by the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son.
