Mary E. Latimer

Mary Elizabeth Latimer, 74, of Petersburg went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Shepherd. She was preceded in death by her husband William Latimer and son John McCabe. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of Christ and Grace Episcopal Church. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved all animals(especially her cats) and nature. She is survived by three daughters, Michelle Pierce and husband, Todd, Susan Larmer and husband, Scott, and Jennifer Velasquez and husband, Ron; seven grandchildren, Shaney, Gina, Jimmy, Eric, Heather, Adam and Jake; two great-grandchildren, Christian and Micah. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm with The Reverend David H. Teschner, officiating .
