Mary Lee Hicks Jenkins

Mary Lee Hicks Jenkins, 70, of Appomattox, VA, departed her earthly life October 20, 2024, at a Chester residence. She was born to the late Willie Sr. and Opal Hicks on June 14, 1954. In addition to her parents; Mary was preceded in death by her husband of nineteen years, Marvin Jenkins; her sister, Juanita Hicks; and her brothers, Willie Jr., Johnny, and Luke Hicks.

Mary is survived by her sons, Edward S. Tolbert, Jr. (Amy), of Dillwyn, VA, and Robert L. Tolbert (Wendy), of Dillwyn, VA; and her daughter, Rebecca "Becky" A. Satterfield (Michael), of Virgilina, VA; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held later.
