Marvin Lee Thompson

Marvin Lee Thompson, 77, of Chester, passed away on January 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mary Thompson; three brothers; and one sister. Marvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a devout Christian and Baptist, and was a member of Second Chance Baptist Church for 18 years. Marvin was employed for many years as a master plumber and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He will be greatly missed by his family. Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Linda Thompson; children, Mark Thompson (Debra), Patricia Nelson (Eric), Jeff Thompson (Raeann), Richard (Shannon), Tim (Jessica), and Derek (Chrissy); eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and extended family members and friends.
