Dr. Martha Ann Griswold

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Dr. Martha Ann Griswold following a lengthy illness. Martha, born April 3, 1950, is survived by a sister, Susan Brown, and a brother, Ted Griswold.

A graduate of Petersburg schools, Martha continued her education at the University of Richmond, earning a Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her doctor's degree at the Medical College of Virginia and did her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina. She spent her years practicing in Petersburg and Colonial Heights, earning the admiration and loyalty of her many patients. All services will be private. As Martha was a devoted lover of animals, please make a donation to the Petersburg and Colonial Heights SPCAs in lieu of flowers.
