Martha H. Crowder

Martha Hobson Crowder, 85, of Prince George, passed away on July 20, 2013. She was the daughter of late Robert and Rachel Hobson; and was also preceded in death this past February by her husband of 62 years, Thomas Franklin Crowder. Mrs. Crowder was a longtime member of Christ and Grace Episcopal Church in Petersburg. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Mason Crowder and wife, Carrie Camp of Goochland, and Robert Hobson Crowder of Dinwiddie; and three grandchildren, Mason, West, and Bennett Camp Crowder. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Christ and Grace Episcopal Church with inurnment to follow in the church memorial garden. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ and Grace Episcopal Church, 1545 S.
