Martha C. Aders, born February 23, 1923, 90 years of age, of Dinwiddie Co., passed away at 11:50 pm on Monday, May 13, 2013. Precious in sight of the Lord is death of his saints. Her favorite verse John 14:1-3; favorite songs are Nail Scarred Hands, and The Old Rugged Cross. She loved her children and the Lord. Mama worked hard for her family, wanted us to love each other, was a good seamstress and loved to shop. She was saved at a young age and told us to tell everyone about Jesus and his coming. She is survived by her children, Doris Rowe Biggs and husband, Gene F. Biggs of Colonial Heights; Martha O. Rowe of Dinwiddie, Barbara Ann Slayden and husband, Blair, Charles W. Aders and wife Betty of Sutherland, Kathy A. Riggins and friend, David Barrett of Carson; grandchildren, Derek A. Biggs and fiancé, Heather of Camden, Delaware, F. Scott Biggs of Colonial Heights, Tabitha Ann Aders and fiancé, Melvin Davis, III of Dinwiddie; great-grandson, Johnathan Frieda of New Castle, Delaware. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Kenwood United Methodist Church, 25200 Ritchie Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803, with the Rev. Rae Seeley officiating.
