Marsha S. Gray

Marsha S. Gray, 77, of Disputanta, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Raised in Hopewell, Virginia, she is the daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy Stanley; she is also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John A. Gray, who passed in 2021. After graduating from Hopewell High School and later Radford University, Marsha started her career as a business administration supervisor in Washington, D.C. Marsha also was a member of the American Kennel Club, enjoying showing her Australian Terriers at shows across the country. Mrs. Gray was a beloved sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She is survived her her sister, Donna Albanese; nephew, Brian Albanese; niece, Toni Albanese; and great-niece, Wren Meador. A private service will be held at Appomattox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Best Friends, bestfriends.org, or to your local SPCA.
