Mark Timothy Leimberger

Mark Timothy Leimberger, 65, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away September 6, 2026. Born and raised in Colonial Heights, VA, he was the son of the late Frederick Leimberger, Sr. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and dear friend.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Cynthia Leimberger, who shared his life, his dreams, and countless memories with him. He is also survived by his daughter, Tiffany Gibbs; his granddaughter, Addison Williams; and his grandsons Jonathan Williams and Lake Gibbs; his stepdaughter, Tiffany Matthews; his son-in-law, Joshua Matthews; his granddaughter, Kayla Matthews; and his grandson, Dylan Matthews. He will also leave behind his loving sister-in-law, Debbie Jacques.

He also leaves behind his mother, Joyce Leimberger; his sister, Judy Dobrick and husband, Donald; and his brother, Fred Leimberger and wife, Liz.

He will also be deeply missed by his many wonderful friends who were blessed to know him and share a part of his journey. His kindness, sense of humor, friendship, and generous spirit touched more lives than he may have ever realized.

Mark was a hardworking and talented carpenter who took great pride in his craft. With his hands, he built more than houses, furniture and beautiful things - he built a life filled with love, memories, and a lasting legacy. His dedication, strength, and willingness to help others will always be remembered.

Those who knew him will remember a man who worked hard, loved deeply and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. The memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Though he is no longer with us, the things he built will stand as a reminder of his hands, his heart, and his legacy. His work on earth may be finished, but the love he gave and the lives he touched will continue on forever.

He will be deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, camping, woodwork, and leather work. The most joyful time he had was spending time with his precious basset Cindy Lou, and most of all his family.

Rest peacefully and fly high.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
