Mae Winnifred “Winnie” Zeh 87, of Hopewell passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Mamie Tew Moon; husband, Carl David Zeh; brother, Rick Moon; and sister, Frances Barricks. Winnie volunteered at John Randolph Hospital for 26 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Hopewell VFW Post #637, and the Hopewell Moose Lodge # 1472. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards, bowling in her younger years, watching game shows especially Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Ted Zeh and his wife, Joy, Van Zeh and his wife, Connie, Jay Zeh and his wife, Robin, Ora Dunbar and her husband, David; grandchildren, Suzanne, Kathryn, Christopher, Matthew, Jason, Justin, Joshua, James, Samantha, Jenny, and Lora; 10 great-grandchildren with another due any day; brother, Jim Moon, and his wife, Nita; sister, Peggy Grant and her husband, Don; brother-in-law, John Douglas “JD” Zeh; a very close dear friend and bingo buddy Betty Walters; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 7pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, December 4, 2014 also at the funeral home with interment to follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be registered at
