Madge White

Madge White Cox, 70, of Hopewell passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011. Mrs. Cox enjoyed bingo, crafts and puzzles. She liked spending time with her family and friends, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cox was a longtime member of the South Hopewell Church of God. She is preceded by her parents, George and Sally White; and her brothers, Jack and Ed White. Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Lee Cox; her daughters, Sandy Barron, Janet Janeka and husband George, and Toni Shepherd; son, Jamie Cox and wife Colleen; sisters, Georgia Cox and Lucille White; brothers, Fred White, Walt White and Reece White; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and adopted daughter, Madeline Perrot. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the South Hopewell Church of God. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the South Hopewell Church of God, with the Rev. Thurman Collier officiating.
