Louise Dalton Bentley

Louise Dalton Bentley, 82 of Hopewell, VA., passed away on June 8, 2013. Born In Dublin, VA. Louise was the daughter of the late Moyer (Woody) and the late Bertha Dalton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dewey T. Bentley Sr.; daughter, Brenda Bentley; sisters, Mary and Betty Dalton; brother, J.C. Dalton. A retired homemaker, Louise was a member of the Church of God and an avid bowler for many years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. Louise also loved gardening, treasured her flowers and made the best strawberry preserves on the planet. Louise is survived by her daughter, Vicki Hartsell; son, Dewey T. Bentley Jr.; grandchildren, Michelle Kuzmick and her husband Chris, Kimberly Gambill, Jason Hartsell and his wife Erin; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Safewright and her husband Frank Jr.; brother Jerry Dalton and his wife JoAnn; many cousins, nieces, nephews ,and beloved friends. A funeral services will be held 6pm on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with a visitation to follow until 8pm. She will be transported to Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski, VA. for a visitation from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday June 13, 2013.
