Lois Rochelle

Lois Mae Rochelle, 84, of Claremont, passed away on July 30, 2012. She was born in Petersburg, Virginia. Lois was retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company after 40 years of service and was a long time member of the Hopewell Women of the Moose. Lois lived in Claremont with her daughter and son-in-law for the last 3 years. She is preceded in death her husband, Eugene â??Shortyâ? Rochelle. Mrs. Rochelle is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann R. Wall of Claremont; one granddaughter, Norma Jo Low of Claremont; four sisters Rose Wolfrey of Petersburg, Shirley Shepperson of Matoaca, Judy McCellon of Colonial Heights, and Mary Ford of Matoaca; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
