Lois Reeves

Lois Dance Reeves, age 96, of Chester, VA, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010. She was born in Brunswick County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Clyde R. and Lola Graves Dance. Mrs. Reeves was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesses C. Reeves, Jr. and a son, Carl L. Reeves. She was the oldest member of the Chester United Methodist Church. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her son, Garland Louis Reeves; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Wayne Tunstall; daughter-in-law, Raedelle Reeves; sister, Marquerite St. Clair; grandchildren, Kevin Reeves, Teresa Lloyd, Jeffrey Powell, Elizabeth â??Bethâ? Powell, and Jesse â??J. Tâ?. Powell; twelve great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 27, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
