Lois P. Branch

Lois Puckett Branch, 92, of S. Chesterfield, passed away on July 29, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie W. and Annie B. Cottrel Puckett, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Branch. Mrs. Branch was the oldest living member of New Life Baptist Church, and was also a past member of the Women of the Moose in Dinwiddie and the Petersburg FOP, LA. She is survived by Patricia and Burley Langford Sr.; two grandsons, Michael and Christopher Langford; three great-grandchildren, Joanna, Gideon and Zachary; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Elmore, officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Baptist Church.
