Lisa Boss

Lisa and Vance Boss were married over 30 years. Lisa, 65, of Pantego, NC, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance, of Hopewell, VA. Lisa was also preceded in death by Myrtle Respess, Ruby Creel Boss, Brent Respass, Cheryl Respess, Steve Morris, Austin Boss, Boland Boss, Vance Austin Boss, Wilford Respess, and Hansford Boss.

Lisa graduated from high school, then went on to cosmetology school and made her career as a hair stylist. She and Vance loved beach vacations with their family every year and having wonderful Christmases, as well cookouts, and swimming at home with friends and family. Lisa put her heart and soul into birthday cakes for her kids, and always had crablegs on Vance's birthday. They enjoyed the little things in life, and made life and their home what it was, which was a life and home filled with love. They are deeply missed.

They leave behind loved ones, Lauren Boss and her children, Kyler Boss Riggs, Kayleen Boss-Hubbard; Cassie Boss and her daughter, Riley Tucker; Pete Respess and James Respess.

A memorial service for Lisa will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 3:00pm. The family will accept friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service, at 2:00pm.
