Lisa Peaden Acord

Lisa Peaden Acord, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Tracy "Ray" Acord; daughter, Kaitlyn (Justin); son, Garrett; brothers-in-law, Sandy and David; grandchildren, Lexie, Austin, Lacey, Rylee, Aiden, Marlee, and Jameson; great-grandchild, Aylah; numerous bonus grandchildren; sister, Tammy (Kerry); numerous nieces and nephews; and a boujee little dog, Pixie.

Lisa was strong willed and stubborn. She loved roller coasters, decorating for Christmas, and Captain George's crab legs. Lisa loved shopping and would usually buy just as much for everyone else as she did for herself.

Lisa loved being a Grandma and spoke often about each one of her babies.

Long before coaching cheerleading she was a line dancing queen, a pageant mom, and pageant enthusiast. She could make a flower arrangement out of any flowers and made the best homemade cheese ball around.

Lisa fought hard to overcome her mysterious illness over the past year and had been looking forward to enjoying the summer with her grandkids.

Though her life on earth was cut short, she will reunite with her parents, Edward and Peggy; and sisters, Vicki and Sharon.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted at Southlawn Memorial Park, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at, The Optimist Club of Hopewell.
