Linda Lee Rozier

Linda Lee "Nookie" Harris Rozier, 67 of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2016. She was surrounded by loving family and friends as her spirit flew to Heaven's gate. Linda was retired from DuPont Elementary where she worked as an Instructional Assistant for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mary Harris. Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years David J. Rozier; three children. Daughter Sherry Rozier Nyquist and her husband Robert, son Michael D. Rozier and his wife Darlene, and daughter Misty Rozier McAllister and her husband David. Linda had eight beautiful grandchildren; Dylan, Parker and Caroline Nyquist. Caleb, Luke, and Kayla Rozier and Blake and Brady McAllister. She also has 3 brothers Thomas Harris Jr., Danny Ray Harris and Ricky Harris and 3 sisters Bonnie Jacobs, Beth OlCott and Kim McFalls and their spouses. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday July 7, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 10am on Friday July 8, 2016 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
