Lillian Harrup Morgan Holdsworth

Lillian Harrup Morgan Holdsworth, age 93, of Disputanta, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. She was devoted to her family. Early on, she worked for Manry Rawls Insurance Company, before staying home to raise her three children and help her husband on the family farm.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanine Morgan Eavey, of Disputanta; a brother, Ernest E. "Pike" Harrup, of Claremont; two sisters, Patricia Padgett, of Disputanta, and June Hostutler, of Mechanicsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie E. Harrup and Marie Clary Harrup; a brother, Raymond Harrup; and a sister, Doris Harrup Westbrook. She was predeceased by her husband and father of their children, Gene Arnold Morgan; and two sons, Kenneth Floyd Morgan and John Edward Morgan. She was also predeceased by a subsequent husband, Graham Cofer Holdsworth.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 2:00pm, at Southlawn Memorial Park.
