Lewis Edwin Lufsey

Lewis Edwin Lufsey, 84, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on March 8, 2025.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Lewis was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed a successful career in plumbing supply for 45 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 2, and Fraternal Order of Eagles #882, of Petersburg. In his free time, Lewis enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and golfing.

Preceding him in death were his loving wife of 57 years, Diane T. Lufsey;his son, Lewis H. Lufsey and his parents Howard W. and Edith V. Lufsey.

He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Elder (Glenn) and Cathy Newton (David); grandsons, Dustin Newton (Elizabeth) and Chad Newton (Patricia); four granddaughters; and great-granddaughters.

The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Southlawn Memorial Park, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
