Leah W. Shanks, 77, of Prince George, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace M. Shanks; parents, Emory Leroy and Della Daniels Wyatt; and several siblings.
She is survived by step-children, Wally Shanks (Michelle), Gene Shanks (Kim), Laura Atkins (Ricky), and DJ Shanks; step-grandchildren, Ashton, Owen, and Gaven; nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. for a graveside service at Blandford Cemetery. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
