Larry Rogers

Larry E. Rogers, 60, of Wakefield passed away on Wednesday, January, 11, 2012. He was the son of the late George Benjamin Rogers, Sr. and Nell Cowling Rogers. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He owned and operated Larry Rogers Maintenance and Repair in Wakefield and was an avid outdoorsman.

Larry is survived by his wife, Kim E. Rogers; son, James C. Rogers and wife, Leah; grandson, Jamison E. Rogers; granddaughter, Addison B. Rogers; sister, Carolyn R. Davis and husband, Bill; nieces, Valerie Davis and Rochelle Gomez and husband, Ramone; great nephew, Miguel Gomez and mother-in-law, Sharon McClenny.

The family will receive friends at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Wakefield United Methodist Church on Sunday, January, 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Wakefield Cemetery.
