Larry Wayne Owens, born December 13, 1943, passed on January 14, 2026. He was the son of Winfred S. Owens and Genevieve M. Mayes (née Moody).
Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Beverly Owens; his children, Larry R. Owens and Emily Clienhans; his grandchildren, Caeleigh Owens and Charles Owens; and his cousins, Jerry Ford and Sherman Ford.
There will be a visitation for friends and family at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Blandford Cemetery on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
