Kristen Rebecca Ayscue

Kristen Rebecca Ayscue, born September 22, 1987 of Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away on September 18, 2026. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and the incredible way she loved and supported the people in her life. She was fiercely loyal, full of personality, and always one of the loudest cheerleaders for anyone she cared about.

Kristen was a devoted child of God, and her faith was a defining part of who she was. She lived and walked daily with the Lord, and her love for God was reflected in the compassion, strength, and wholehearted love she shared with the people around her.

Kristen is lovingly remembered by her mother, Lisa Lynch; her father, J.C. Ayscue; and her bonus mom, Deanna Ayscue.

She will be deeply missed by her siblings: Heather Wilson and her husband, Kristen's beloved "Brotato Chip," Paul Wilson, Lauren Beasley, Jessica Ayscue, and her brother, Joshua Ayscue, and his wife, Jessica.

Kristen held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, Lexi, Tegan, Greyson, Elliana, and Elisabeth. She took great pride in cheering them on and especially loved supporting her Sutherland baseball nephews from the sidelines.

She also shared a close and special bond with her aunt, Padty Mayhew Davis, who lovingly referred to Kristen as her "mini me," and Padty's husband, James "Jimmy" Davis.

Kristen treasured her lifelong friendships with Laura Young and Lindsey Bryant, with whom she shared countless memories, laughter, and love.

She will also be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and loved ones whose lives were touched by her warmth, loyalty, and unmistakable spirit.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sidney Brannon, Betty Brannon, Walter Ayscue, and Mary Ayscue.

A devoted sports fan, Kristen loved football-HTTR-the Washington Capitals, and especially Banana Ball, including the Party Animals and Firefighters, and all the friends she met along the way. Whether she was cheering from the stands or encouraging someone she loved, she brought unmatched energy and enthusiasm.

Kristen loved fiercely, cheered loudly, walked faithfully, and lived with fire. Her laughter, passion, faith, and love will be deeply missed and forever carried by those who knew her.

A memorial service for Kristen will be held at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00pm. The family will accept friends the night prior to the service, Friday, October 2, at the funeral home, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Vision Church or the nonprofit Bananas Foster may be made in loving memory of Kristen.
