Kenneth R. Parker, Sr.

Kenneth R. Parker, Sr., of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, RW and Donita Parker.

 He is survived by his son, Kenny (Karine); granddaughter, Reanna Parker; grandson, Joey Burruss (Emily); and sister, Dixie Thomas. 

Kenneth enjoyed his career working in the maintenance departments at Firestone, Millhiser, and South-Central Wastewater. He spent many Saturdays over the years making memories with his son, Kenny, at go-kart tracks across Virginia. He also enjoyed researching his family history around the Los Novillos and Santa Guadalupe ranches in the South Texas area. 

All services for the family will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
