Katie Jin Tripp

Katie Jin Tripp, 28, a resident of Glen Allen, VA, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015. She is survived by her parents, Dan and Chin Criswell; her loving husband, Kyle M. Tripp; brother, Joshua Criswell; aunts, Jin Merson and husband Charlie, Debbie Clifton, and Kim Martin; cousins, Mary Min, Diana Neff and Soojung Kim; and numerous extended family and friends. Katie graduated from JMU and VCU. She worked as a Physician’s Assistant at Hanover Family Practice. Katie recently married her best friend and the love of her life Kyle Tripp. She loved playing piano, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 820 W. Broadway Hopewell, VA 23860. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
