We are heartbroken to announce that Karley Mackenzie White, a shining light from Chester, Virginia, left this world on November 5, 2026, at the age of 26. Born on April 21, 2000, Karley faced life with a brave heart and a joyous spirit that inspired everyone around her.
Karley was a one-of-a-kind individual with a vibrant personality that lit up every room. She adored her family, reveled in her cherished trips to Disney World, and brought joy to countless others through her participation in Tim Tebow's Night to Shine at First Baptist Church in Hopewell, Virginia. A true enthusiast, Karley loved her Care Bears and My Little Pony collections, and could often be found happily gaming on her iPad or Nintendo Switch. And let's not forget her beloved TY Beanie Baby Specs, who was always by her side and will be going to Heaven with her!
Karley's legacy lives on through her devoted mother, Cathy Wild, and her husband, "Daddy" Dave; her father, James White, Jr.; and her six wonderful siblings: Jesse, Mariah, Bryn, David, Dana, and Kadee. She also leaves behind a lovely group of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever treasure their memories with her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. Thursday, November 12th, 2026 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Instead of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Karley's memory to consider making a contribution to Night to Shine at First Baptist Church in Hopewell (401 N. 2nd Ave, Hopewell, VA 23860) or to the CCHS Family Network (cchsnetwork.org), organizations that were dear to her heart.
While she may no longer be with us, Karley's infectious spirit and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever. Celebrate her life with us, as we remember the joy she brought to everyone she encountered!
