June H. Butler

June Hartle Butler, 75, of Matoaca, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Eva Hartle. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky Butler; and great-grandchild, Surenity Adkins. June was a proud member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Ettrick, and the Friendship Club of South Chesterfield. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Butler, Sr.; son, Donald “Sonny” Butler, Jr. and his wife, Donna; two daughters, Sally Butler and her companion, Dennis Aldridge, and Robin “Cricket” Bryan and her husband, Mark; three grandchildren, Stephen Butler, Ricky Goddard, Lucky “Butch” Adkins and his wife, Erika; step-granddaughter, Cynthia Bryan; three great-grandchildren, Cora, Collin, and Isaiah; brother, Jesse Hartle and his wife, Jeannie; sister, Nancy Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
