Jr. W. Blocker

Carlos Winfield Blocker, Jr., of Petersburg, departed this life Friday, March 24, 2006. He was a native of Glennville, GA born the son of Carlos W. Blocker, Sr and the late Emily M. Blocker. Mr. Blocker was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Lee and also previously worked with the Parks and Recreation Dept for Chesterfield County. He is survived by his wife Brenda D. Blocker; one son Carlos W. Blocker III; one step-son Michael W. Barnes; two sisters Lela Jane Sarrell and husband Warren, and Carolyn Mobley and husband Jim; three nieces and four nephews; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight, March 25th at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 5 to 7 PM.
