Joseph Anthony Terrazas

Joseph Anthony Terrazas, 79, passed away on November 7, 2025. Born in Illinois and raised in Colorado, he was the son of the late Jennie Miera. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Martina Rodriguez, Prisciliana Torres, and Charlene Trijillo.

Joseph was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he worked as an electrician. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Libby Terrazas; two brothers, Carlos Castaneta and Ronnie Terrazas, both of Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

A Memorial Mass for Joseph will be held on at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 9300 Community Lane, South Prince George, VA, 23805, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with interment immediately following in the church cemetery. The family will accept friends one hour prior to the service, at 10:00 a.m., at the church, and would like to welcome all to attend a reception in the Parish Center after the service.
