John Stewart
November 15, 1938 — November 26, 2025
John Eddy Stewart, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away on November 26, 2025, at his home after a period of declining health. He was 87.
Eddy retired from Prince George County Utilities Department after many years.
Thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their assistance during his final weeks.
He is survived by his sister, Frances Lingerfelt; sister-in-law, Beulah Stewart; and their families. He is also survived by his good friend, Scott Redenius.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, from 11am-5pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at 2pm, at Southlawn Memorial Park.
