John Petrick Jr.

John Petrick, Jr. 65, of Petersburg, VA, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Klimek Petrick and his brother George A. Petrick. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharron Petrick; stepdaughter, Theresa Oakley and husband, Tod; stepson, Richard Lipes and wife, Holly; grandchildren, Nicholas, Katherine, and Brianna Oakley, and Ethan Lipes; aunts, Geri Klimek and Kay Zipay of PA; nephews, Geoff, Greg, and John Petrick; and many close cousins. . John was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. A service will follow at 12 p.m. with the Reverend Paul T. Christian officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, Prince George, VA.
