John Harlow Mcintosh

LTC Retired John Harlow McIntosh, 84, of Hopewell, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. He was the son of the late, John and Ann Harlow McIntosh and was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice P. McIntosh. He served his country in the U.S. Army where he retired as a Lt. Colonel. Mr. McIntosh worked at the First & Merchant Bank for over 10 years as a banker. He enjoyed reading, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. John is survived by his children, Paul McIntosh (Karen), Pamela Hammond (William), Robert McIntosh, Linda Raney (Buddy); 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; cousin, Lucille¬ Fitzsimmons and other loving family members. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, with Pastor Eddie Reed, officiating.
