John DeSpencer

John DeSpencer passed away on July 1, 2026. He is survived by his daughter, Nikki DeSpencer (Michael); grandson, Patrick (Arlissa) and great-grandson, Micah; grandson, Trey; and granddaughter, Amya.

John proudly served his country in the Army before owning his own business for many years. He was an avid fisher and enjoyed being out on the water. John never met a stranger. He was always happy to strike up a conversation with anyone. He was known for his incredible memory; you could give him your phone number once, and he would remember it for decades. Above all, John loved being a grandfather. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family to cherish.

The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son.
