Joe Bohatec

Joe Bohatec, 88, of South Chesterfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, June Bohatec; mother, Blanche Steele; brothers, John and Donald Steele; grandson, Bram Long. Joe is survived by his children, Joey Bohatec (Brenna), Cindy Johnson, Terri Jarrell (Mark), and Darrell Bohatec (Tiffany); twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Susie Jones. He served in the military (Army Veteran). He retired from Brown & Williamson and Reynolds Metal. He transported vehicles from Strosnider and Heritage Chevrolet for several years. He truly enjoyed every minute of it. A funeral service will be held at 11am, on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Rocky Shearin officiating.
