Joan C. Becker

Joan C. Becker, 88, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was raised in Buckingham County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack M. Becker; her parents, Marion Hall, Jr. and Alpha Hall; Debbie Cassell, Dewayn Cassell, Mary Cassell, and Steve Cassell. She was a graduate of Wheelwright High School in KY.

She loved sewing, flower arranging, knitting, pillow making, and quilting. She was a member of Life Church in Hopewell and a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Joan is survived by her son, Greg K. Cassell; granddaughter, Breann Cassell; grandson, Jeremy Cassell; and brother, Jack Cassell.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one-hour prior.
