Jim Thornton Soutter Sr.

Jim T. Soutter, Sr., born October 3, 1945 passed away at the age of 67 at his home on May 10, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Elizabeth Soutter; two sons, Jim T. Soutter, Jr. and wife, Ronda, and Douglas Lawson and wife, Vickie; two daughters, Tammy Soutter and Lisa Lawson; two brothers, Fred and John; sister, Mildred all of Culpepper, VA; special sister-in-law, Francis Soutter of Culpepper, numerous loving nieces and nephews; great-grandchildren; and ten grandchildren, John, Mary, Steven, Markie, Misty, Brannon, Robin, Jacquelynn, Danielle, Seanah, and many friends. Mr. Soutter was loved by all and he will be greatly missed. He was an employee of Wal-Mart in Chester, VA for 14 years. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local animal shelter.
