Jean Stevens

Jean Moody Stevens, age 80, of Hopewell passed away on Thursday June 24, 2010. She was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor Moody, and is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald R. Stevens; son, Kenneth L. Stevens; and brother, Edward A. Moody. Mrs. Stevens was a member of The First Baptist Church, Hopewell and was an active member of the Hopewell Recreation Center. She is survived by a daughter, Karen S. Willis of Hopewell, VA; a son, Robert L. Smith and wife, Diane of Germantown, MD; two grandchildren, Raven and Justin Willis; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Asia Campbell. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
