Janice Mills

Janice Mills, 88, passed away on July 30, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Clayton and Shirley Weisner and was raised in Meriden, Connecticut.

Janice was a registered nurse and worked for OBGYN practices. In her free time she enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crafting. Janice was a loving mother and devoted wife. She was kind to everyone and never let the ups and downs of life dampen her spirit.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Charles Mathews, and her second husband, Minton Perry. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Franklin Mills; sons, Mark and Michael Mathews; aunt, Jane Bell; seven step-children; and many cousins and extended family members.

A visitation for Janice will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
