James Rennie Glazer, 87, of Chesterfield died Sunday, May 19, 2013. He was a native of Prince George County born the son of the late James Andrew and Ida Titmus Glazer. Mr. Glazer graduated from Hopewell High School and then went on to attend Virginia Polytechnic Institute before serving his country in World War II in the US Navy. He later retired from Allied Chemical as an accountant and was a member of the TPA since 1955 and a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Petersburg Lodge for 56 years. He is survived by his loving wife Ina M. Glazer; four nephews Frank Glazer, John Henry Fulcher, William Edward Fulcher and Oscar Bruce Fulcher; and a niece Mary Lou Wakeland. He is also preceded in death by his three sisters Frances Glazer, Helen Fulcher and Nellie Caudill. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 22nd from 5 to 7 PM at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. Where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM, with interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
